We offer comprehensive testing for air, water, soil, sediment, tissue, and waste, covering a wide range of analytes including PFAS, metals, VOCs/SVOCs, dioxins/furans, radiochemicals, and more./pstrongJob Description:/strongpEurofins Environment Testing is searching for an Analyst II in Arvada, CO./ppThe Analyst II prepares and analyzes environmental samples using both standard and complex testing according to scientific and EPA methodology in compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing’s Quality Assurance programs and SOP’s. Validates and reviews data for accuracy through Level I reviews. Uploads laboratory data into LIMS system to generate data packages for delivery to clients. Must be knowledgeable of a broad range of laboratory testing equipment requiring the exercise of discretion and judgment in its operation./ppstronguAnalyst II responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following/u/strongstrong:/strong/pulliPerforms laboratory procedures requiring knowledge of scientific methods and testing procedures including:ulliBatching and prepping samples for analysis taking into account special and varied client and QA requirements/liliMaking reagents for sample analysis/liliAliquots extracted samples to maximize laboratory productivity/liliPreparing appropriate standards to ensure compliant data/liliDetermining appropriate routine and complex analysis methods for a wide variety of organic and inorganic samples/liliOperation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory instruments/li/ul/liliUploads data into LIMS system for review./liliPerforms Level I review of data produced to ensure accuracy./liliMaintains logbooks./liliMonitors refrigerator temperatures./liliResponsible for performing job functions within Eurofins Environment Testing's EHS and QA standards./liliMaintains housekeeping standards for work area./liliInventories and stocks laboratory supplies./liliOrders supplies./liliWashes and inventories glassware./liliWrites NCM’s for projects with QA issues./liliPurges analyzed samples./liliAssists in training new analysts on laboratory procedures./liliAssists in other areas of laboratory when needed./li/ulstrongQualifications:/strongul/ulpstronguBasic Minimum Qualifications/u/strongstrong:/strong/pulliBS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree./liliMinimum 1 year of experience operating laboratory instruments like, ICP-AES/ICP-MS, GCMS and LCMS./liliMinimum 2 years’ experience in routine and complex laboratory procedures and instruments, preferably in a production environment/liliPrevious production-oriented work is a plus/liliAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship/liliProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English/li/ulpstronguThe ideal candidate would possess/u/strongstrong:/strong/pulliStrong reading, writing and speaking skills/liliAbility to problem solve/liliTeam participation and meeting management skills/liliTime management and organization skills/liliAbility to use calculator/mathematical formulas and concepts/liliComplete work within time and quality constraints/liliWork independently following written or verbal instructions/liliCooperate and coordinate both orally and in writing/li/ulstrongAdditional Information:/strongpThe work schedule is for Monday - Friday or Thursday - Monday, 8am - 5pm with possible overtime when needed.#xa0; #xa0;This position is full-time and is non-exempt from overtime pay./ppstrongCompensation Range: /strong$25.00 - $29.00 USD per hourstrong /strongdepending on experience#xa0;plus a 10% shift differential when working the Thursday - Monday schedule.#xa0;/ppEurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base compensation of internal peers, business section, and geographic location/ppstrongWe support your development!/strong#xa0;Do you feel you don’t match 100% of the requirements?
