div pstrongGroup Objectives/strong/p pThe leadership board assists with the completion of launch steps 8-10 and operation of the live program by:/p ul liProviding input and direction to the program director as he/she manages the day-to-day operations of the program/li liAssisting with the 5 L's of operations:/li ul liLeadership: Recruit and onboard program staff and volunteers/li liLocation: Research, secure and prepare facility and transportation/li liLogistics: Coordinate details and maintain positive communications with the school/li liLoot: Spearhead the fundraising effort, budget and manage finances/li liLanguage: Ensure all public communications are excellent and contain proper messaging/li /ul /ul pstrongGroup Makeup/strong/p pThe leadership board should include:/p ul liNo fewer than three members and no more than nine in addition to the program director/li liRepresentation from at least three different churches/li liRepresentation of the entire Christian community: various ages, professions, genders, races, etc./li liOne member responsible for each of the 5 L's: Leadership, Location, Logistics, Loot and Language. Individual board members may be responsible for more than one L./li /ul pstrongMember Responsibilities/strong/p pEvery member is asked to:/p ul liHave a mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the "What We Believe" section of the a href="https://lifewise.org/statementoffaith/"LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith/a/li liActively participate in and commit to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the "What We Believe" section of the a href="https://lifewise.org/statementoffaith/"LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith/a/li liComplete board member role-specific training/li liComplete a background check amp; child safety training once every 3 years/li liBe diligent in executing the T-Minus Plan prior to launch/li liActively participate in the fundraising process/li liBe faithful in attending scheduled meetings/li liCommit to a minimum of one year of service/li liBe consistent in prayer for the local program/li /ul pstrongMember Qualifications/strong/p pEvery member should have a proven track record of exemplifying the two LifeWise Core Values:/p ul listrongCOMMITMENT/strong - Members have their hearts in the right place. They are motivated by their love for the Lord and are all in. They are fully supportice of the gospel-centered purposes of a local LifeWise program./li listrongCOMPETENCE/strong - Members have the know-how, skills and relationship to get stuff done./li /ul p*Note: Each member must provide the contact info of a local church leader in which he/she is an active participant.
