The Records Specialist is responsible for organizing and maintaining firm records, forms, and information./pp/ppbKey Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:/b/pulliFiles, computerized indexes and maintain records in firms’ records management system./liliMaintains records systems and procedures to facilitate the orderly operation, retention, and disposition of records. May serve as a liaison between users and offsite vendors regarding operational issues./liliCoordinates various data clean-up tasks, including standardizing records classifications./liliGenerate reports./liliAssists internal clients with questions or issues related to records management operations./liliTrains new staff and may conduct periodic training sessions for existing staff on departmental processes and procedures, including providing guidance and technical assistance./liliManages sensitive and/or confidential documents./liliAssists with departmental coverage as needed./liliAssists Director of Records with annual reviews of Records Management Program./liliDevelop departmental procedures as needed./liliSpecial projects and duties as assigned./li/ulp/ppbRequired Skills:/b/pulliStrong computer and database skills./liliStrong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision./liliAbility to muti-task and priorities tasks appropriately./liliExcellent organizational skills./liliEffective oral communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with firm personnel at all levels with a high degree of professionalism./liliIntermediate keyboarding skills (40 accurate words per minute or greater)./li/ulp/ppbRequired Qualifications amp; Education:/b/pulliBachelor’s Degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience./lili3#43; years’ professional experience in positions requiring the maintenance of administrative and client company records./li/ulp/ppbPreferred Qualifications amp; Education:/b/pulliPrior law firm experience helpful./li/ulp/ppbPhysical Requirements:/b/pulliAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of time./li/ulp/ppiIn accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position is $25.20 - $37.80/hr.
