We are seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to fill the Lifeguard Position!/i/ppstrongJob Summary:/strong/ppUnder the general guidance and supervision of the Athletic Director and Aquatics Director, the Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of Members and their guests in all aspects of The Country Club of Rochesterrsquo;s Aquatic Pool Facility, and its regular operations./ppstrongDuties/Responsibilities:/strong/pul type="disc"liMaintains constant surveillance of Members and their guests in the Pool facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency./liliProvides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services./liliPresents professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service./liliPerforms various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe pool facility./liliPrepares and maintains appropriate activity reports./liliPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned./li/ulpstrongRequired Skills/Abilities:/strong/pul type="disc"liAbility to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations/liliAbility to enforce safety at the pool among both staff and members./liliAbility to be tactful, courteous, and diplomatic when dealing with members, guests and fellow employees./liliAbility to drive a car and or golf cart/liliAbility to stand or walk for several hours during events and work long hours, if necessary./li/ulpnbsp;strongEducation and Experience:nbsp;/strong/pulliPrior experience at a Golf Club or Country Club is preferred/liliMust possess current American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications/li/ul/div/div/div
