Apply today and become part of a team committed to making a difference! /p p /p pstrongSchedule:/strongstrong /strong /p pstrongTuesday-Saturday 3 pm-12 am/strong/p pstrongA pharmacy technician NM license is required/strong/p p /p pstrongBenefits and perks for you!/strongstrong /strong   /p ul liMedical, Dental, Vision insurance   /li liHealth Savings Flexible Spending Accounts (up to $5,000 for childcare)   /li liTuition discounts reimbursement   /li li401(k) /li liCompany Paid Time Off* /li liShift Differential /li liDailyPay/li liPet Insurance/li liEmployee wellness and discount programs /li /ul pem*Benefits may vary by employment status /em  /p h2Responsibilities/h2 ul liFills prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy/li liLabels products appropriately, including cautionary or auxiliary labels/li liParticipates in the periodic inventory of the pharmacy/li liMay check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves and remove out-of-date items from the inventory/li liPrepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding/li liCommunicates with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner/li liMay process returned medications from the facility for credit or destruction/li liAssists in the training of new employees/li liAlso performs at least one of the following:/li liWorks in the Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) Room;/li liWorks with automated machine to prepack drugs;/li liManages inventory functions such as monitoring pharmaceutical levels and identify expired medications, managing to the pharmacy standard for Days on Hand;/li liInputs patient data and medication orders into a computer system to produce labels (data entry);/li liMixes/packages IV medications, sanitizes IV room, equipment and hood/li liServices facility-based medication dispensing machines (e.g., RxNow)/li liPerforms other tasks as assigned/li /ul h2Qualifications/h2 ul liRequired:  High School diploma or equivalent.  Experience in a pharmacy setting and with medical terminology.  Ability to operate a computer; ability to recognize and identify medications.  Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, effective oral communication.  Pharmacy Technician license.  /li liDesired:  Long Term Care pharmacy experience. /li /ul h2About our Line of Business/h2PharMerica, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, delivers personalized pharmacy care through dedicated local teams, serving health care providers such as skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, and hospitals.
