We are committed to developing our people, strengthening leadership, and building a company that positively impacts the lives of our team members and their families. lt;brgt;lt;brgt;At lt;emgt;Watts Tree Expertslt;/emgt;, you#39;re not just joining a crew you#39;re building a career. lt;/divgt;lt;divgt;lt;brgt;lt;/divgt;lt;divgt;lt;stronggt;Responsibilities lt;/stronggt;lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;Climb trees to preform pruning, trimming, and removals using industry standards techniques lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Operate as an active crew member with supporting ground crew and crew leaderlt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for clientslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and morelt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt;lt;divgt;Including but not limited to:lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopylt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Installation of cables, bracing and lightning protection systemslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Removal of hazardous trees lt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt;lt;divgt;lt;stronggt;Qualificationslt;/stronggt;lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;1+ years of professional tree climbing experience required lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Proficient in rope and saddle climbing techniques (SRT/DRT) lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Experience with technical rigging and safe tree removals lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Knowledge in proper pruning standards lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Strong understanding of industry safety standards lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Valid drivers license required lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Strong communication skillslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Skilled in operating chainsaws, chippers, and heavy equipment lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Must be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditionslt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt; lt;/divgt;
