pstrongSECTION 1: Job Summary (Summary of the basic functions of the position)/strong/p pSchedules appointments and performs various clerical duties to assist patients and clinical staff inbr / providing patient care by performing the following duties:/p pstrongSECTION 2: Duties and Responsibilities (Responsibilities necessary to accomplish job functions)/strong/p ul liSchedules all appointments for providers in computer, except patients for patients needing procedural appointments (i.e., Mohs, excisions, cryotherapy, laser)/li liVerifies all pertinent patient demographic information in computer system, including insurance information./li liConfirms patientsrsquo; appointment and answers incoming questions about appointments./li liInstructs patients in locations and directions./li liEnters appropriate data into computer and retrieves data./li liAnswers telephone, and directs patients, salespeople, and visitors to the correct telephone extension, takes messages as needed/li liAdheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service./li liPerforms other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization./li /ul
