With scalable production capacity and disciplined program management, PSI delivers repeatable quality and reliable performance on complex builds for mission-critical and industrial applications worldwide./p pstrongPosition Summary:/strong/p pAs a Materials Team Member, you will perform general warehouse work including loading and unloading of trucks and moment of material within the warehouse or production facility.nbsp;Work includes receiving, storing, and moving materials to the production area as well as preparing orders for shipment./p pstrongEssential Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liInspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting/li liUse moving equipment including forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks to move inventory safely and efficiently around the warehouse and production facility/li liIdentify damaged, lost, or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately/li liTransports materials to shipping bay, prepares and loads for safe shipment/li liMaintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations/li liCompletes appropriate inventory record/li liSafely operate forklifts and other power vehicles in accordance with safety regulations such as those administered by OSHA/li liPerform inventory control responsibilities and cycle counts when required/li liEnsure that power vehicles are in proper working order by conducting required pre-trip inspections/li liOther duties as assigned by management/li /ul pstrongRequirements:/strong/p ul liHigh School diploma or GED preferred/li liPrevious experience in Material Handling; sit-down, stand-up reach and turret truck experience preferred/li liAbility to read and comprehend, in English, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos/li liMust be able to write simple correspondence and to effectively present information in one-on one situations/li liMust possess the ability to add and subtract/li liAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions/li liWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands or fingers, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms/li liAbility to safely drive a forklift/li liForklift certification is a plus/li liThe employee is occasionally required to talk or listen./li liMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds/li liSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus/li /ul pemPSI offers a wide range of benefits from medical, dental, and vision to pet insurance as well as discounted prescription plans.
