The Inspector will be responsible for field verification, documentation, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle./pp/ppThis Inspector will have the following responsibilities:/pulliInspect medium-voltage electrical systems (typically 600V up to 35kV), including switchgear, transformers, feeders, duct banks, grounding systems, and protective devices./liliEnsure installations comply with contract specifications, National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE standards, and airport authority requirements./li/ulp/ppSeeking Candidates with the following qualifications:/pulliMinimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry/liliDemonstrated aviation-related construction experience, including work on taxiways, runways, terminals, and/or underground utilities/liliAbility to pass a TSA criminal history background check/liliIn-depth knowledge of environmental codes and regulatory requirements/liliFamiliarity with discipline-specific codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IMC, IPC, SMACNA, IBC, IEEE)/liliAbility to interpret and coordinate with third-party inspection reports/liliStrong understanding of contract documents, technical specifications, and design standards/liliValid Driver’s License/li/ulp/ppAdditional Responsibilities:/pulliConduct field inspections to verify conformance with approved contract documents and applicable codes/liliReview contractor work for compliance with specifications, manufacturer instructions, and regulatory standards/liliCoordinate daily activities with third-party inspectors and project stakeholders, including ABIA Operations, Environmental teams, City inspectors, and AUS personnel/liliDocument deficiencies and communicate findings to the Contractor, Construction Manager and CDS inspectors in a timely manner/liliSupport Construction Managers in verifying installed quantities for Pay Applications/liliMaintain accurate daily inspection reports detailing work reviewed and observations made/liliParticipate in change management processes and assist in schedule evaluations/liliNavigate and utilize project documentation including design drawings, specifications, Design Standards Manual, and contract terms/liliOccasional night-time work may be required based on project demands/li/ulp/ppWe offer challenging projects, stability, great resources to support you, as well as competitive salaries and excellent benefits!/pp/ppubSecurity Clearance Requirement:/b/u/pNonep style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pFor more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
