pstrongINTRODUCTION/strong/p ul listrongThis position is set aside for a person with a disability according to the AbilityOne government contract/strong ul listrongProof of Disability is required prior to interviewing/strong/li /ul /li liThe core working hours are 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday/li liThis position is located at the FBI Building in Washington, DC/li liThe hourly wage is $19.35 per hour/li liThis is a full-time position/li liThis position requires a lifetime pre-employment criminal history background check, government security clearance, and drug testing/li /ul pstrongKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/p ul liSweep and mop hallways, stairs, and offices/li liEmpty wastebaskets and dispose of the trash in a prescribed manner/li liDust horizontal surfaces/li liEmpty and wash ashtrays/li liClean bathrooms/li liWax and buff floors with prescribed buffers/li liClean glass and windows/li liWash walls and other vertical surfaces/li liSweep and clear snow from outside steps and sidewalks/li liPolish kick panels, doorknobs, and other designated fixtures/li liStrip and wax floors/li liVacuum rugs/li liMix cleaning solutions/li liMaintain issued equipment/li liNotify the supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed to perform tasks/li liAll other duties assigned by Custodial Foreman/li /ul pstrongPHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS/strong/p ul liThe incumbent must be able to stand 80% of the work time, walk 15%, and sit 5%/li liHe/She must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds in order to clean work areas and handle supplies and equipment/li liMust be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle/li liAll of these requirements are necessary for using ladders and stairs, cleaning low areas, high areas, benches, and corners/li liMust be able to communicate with supervisors and co-workers/li liMust be able to see, have depth perception and tell colors for safety reasons, and to distinguish between chemicals/li /ul pstrongQUALIFICATIONS/strong/p ul liMust have three to six months of training or experience, or be capable of learning to perform the essential functions/li liMust be able to pass security clearance for designated contracts/li liMust be able to pass a required pre-employment criminal history background check, government security clearance, and drug testing/li /ul
