Work where you matter./b/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pbrbA Brief Overview/bbrbrResponds and assists the Physician and Registered nurse by providing assistance to professional staff during the pre-procedure, procedure or post-procedure period. The LPN practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider. The LPN organizes and directs those aspects of care for which he/she is accountable; communicating and coordinating care with well-defined nursing diagnoses, including all health team members. This position will assist with procedure room set-up, scope cleaning and scope maintenance, as well as entering and maintaining inventory control. brbrbWhat you will dobr/bbrulliPrepares the room for procedure in a timely fashion, including patient and equipment positioning./li liMaintains efficiency in handling equipment at physician's request during procedures./li liVerifies specimens with Physician and Registered Nurse./li liAchieves and maintains a working knowledge of equipment and tools; cleans and maintains equipment./li liKeeps stock and equipment inventories, including requisitions or forms for maintenance and repair./li liCollects data and conducts a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient./li liParticipates with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient-centered healthcare plan; communicate and collaborate with patients and members of healthcare team./li liAdvocates for the best interest of the patient and provides for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly./li liAssists with health counseling and teaching./li liImplements, delegates and assigns nursing interventions to implement the plan of care and assist in evaluating the response to interventions./li/ulbrbEssential Qualifications/bbrbrThe individual must be able to work the hours specified.
