h1About Our Job/h1p/ppThe Denver Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for the Property and Evidence Technician position. This role is responsible for receiving, verifying, and processing evidence and property from law enforcement, court, and laboratory personnel, ensuring all items are properly packaged, documented, and tracked./pp/ppThe Evidence and Property Section is a vital support unit that provides 24/7 access for authorized personnel and serves the public during designated hours, playing a critical role in the safeguarding and preservation of all evidence in the Department’s custody./pp/ppThis is an essential personnel position, and requires availability for varied shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and some holidays. Shift preferences are determined by seniority, but operational needs take priority.
