pstrongBostik Middleton is hiring Shipping amp; Receiving Specialist (Hourly Range: $20.00 - $24.00 pending experience)/strong/p pstrongSign-on Bonus $2,500/strong/p pstrongHealth Benefits starting on DAY 1 of your Employment!/strong/p pstrongWorking Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 /strongstrongPM/strongstrong (Must be willing to work overtime as necessary)/strong/p p /p pspan style="text-decoration:underline"strongShipping amp; Receiving Specialist/strong/span/p ul liPerforms various warehousing and logistics tasks in support of the Shipping and Receiving  /li /ul pstrongspan style="text-decoration:underline"Activities/span /strong/p ul liUtilizes the SAP system to receive in raw materials, purchased finished goods, packaging supplies/li liCreates and applies required barcode label(s) for incoming materials per receiving procedure./li liScans and puts material away into designated storage locations/li liPerform various shipping and duties in compliance with company and customer specifications/li liAbility to understand and follow the Pick List instructions including customer requirements for pulling/staging customer orders including customer special requirements/li liKeeps all paperwork (shipping and or receiving related) neat and organized per process/li liEnsures compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation and environmental regulations/li liAssists maintaining an accurate inventory through activities including, but not limited to double checking quantities and item codes when receiving in material and when pulling orders, reporting loss of product (raw materials, finished goods, packaging) due to spills/damage and immediately recording/reporting all discrepancies in inventory and any damaged product/li liSupports site cycle counts and physical inventory requirements to maintain accuracy of all warehouse inventory/li liReports any spills or incidents that adversely impact safety or the environment/li liOperates a forklift in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules/li liAssists in maintaining an acceptable level of housekeeping/li liAccurately completes all required paperwork/li liAssures compliance with all company policies/li liComplies with Corporate EHS safety and regulatory requirements /li /ul pspan style="text-decoration:underline"strongContext and Environment/strong/span/p ul liWork in a fast-paced production environment where safety, accuracy and speed are essential. Simultaneous competing priorities require effective and efficient multi-tasking to succeed/li liAbility to stand, lift up to 50/lbs. and walk throughout workday/li liComfortable with the use of material handling equipment, hand tools and fork trucks/li liUse of computer for data management and training /li /ul pstrongspan style="text-decoration:underline"Accountabilities/span /strong/p ul liMaintain equipment and report issues to leadership as needed/li liCompletion of assigned tasks/li liUse problem solving techniques to eliminate waste and errors/li liAdherence to Bostik, OSHA, and local regulations / policies/li liRemain current on all assigned training  /li /ul pspan style="text-decoration:underline"strongQualifications / Experience Required/strong/span/p ul liHigh school diploma / GED, ability to read English and perform basic math skills with 1-2 years’ experience in a warehousing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience/li liDOT/IATA/IMDG certification to handle Hazardous materials preferred/li liMust have good interpersonal and communication skills./li liMust have the ability to work well with others in a team environment. /li liBasic computer skills (Microsoft Applications)/li liForklift / aisle stacker experience/li liAbility to operate automated and semi-automated equipment/li liWilling to work an off shift and overtime as necessary /li /ul
