Position Summary:

The Event Coordinator is mainly to provide administrative support for the Event Management, Event Operations, Technical Operations. Responsibilities:
p style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"stronguESSENTIAL DUTIES:/u/strong/span/pulli style="margin-left: .25in;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Perform various administrative functions, such as preparation of Event Services Database to include Event Management, event operations, and Technical operations documentation./span/lili style="margin-left: .25in;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Organize event files, the Momentus event database, and purchase orders; maintain standard operating procedures; prepare and distribute weekly production reports; attend weekly event services department meetings; and maintain Department folders with all historical and current information./span/lili style="margin-left: .25in;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Serve as the Event Coordinator for internal special events and City of Miami Beach-sponsored events./span/lili style="margin-left: .25in;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Consult with clients to determine objectives and requirements for 500 attendees or fewer./span/lili style="margin-left: .25in;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Meet with clients, partners, and vendors to plan scope and format of events and to establish event procedures and progress./span/lili style="margin-left: .25in;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Plan and develop event resumes, pre-con agendas, post-event reports for services according to client requirements./span/lili style="margin-left: .25in;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Create event resume detailing specifics of events logistics and distribute to all appropriate departments also notifying senior staff when events will affect them directly./span/lili style="margin-left: .25in;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Maintain a comprehensive database of client information and all active vendors./span/lili style="margin-left: .25in;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Coordinates services for events, such as set-up, catering, audio visual, telecommunications, union labor, signage, transportation, event security, etc./span/lili style="margin-left: .25in;"span style="font-size: 10pt;"Other duties and responsibilities as assigned./span/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;" /p
Qualifications:
