They skillfully operate light trucks and small tractors, utilizing hand and power tools. Their responsibilities include transporting supplies and materials vital for maintenance, as well as efficiently loading and unloading trucks.nbsp;/pp style="margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in;margin:0in;"In addition, they perform manual labor tasks such as clearing ditches and culverts, trimming brush, and contributing to bridge and structure repairs. They are also responsible for erecting and maintaining signs and markers, ensuring clear navigation throughout the airport grounds. They diligently pick up litter and debris on roads, ramps, and airfields, maintaining a clean and orderly environment./pWhen adverse weather strikes, they swiftly respond by shoveling snow from sidewalks, runway edge lights, and aircraft operating areas, ensuring safe passage for both pedestrians and aircraft.
