We are looking for highly motivated, outgoing, polite, engaged, service-minded individuals who care about where they work and the reputation this develops./pp/ppIn this role, you may have an opportunity to:/pullipMaintain all Cornell Catering, Concessions, and Moakley House service standards and professional expectations/p/lilipAnswer questions on menu selection/p/lilipPass hors-d#39;oeuvres, replenish buffets, serve guests directly at served dinners, assist with Concessions events/p/lilipCommunicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen/p/lilipMaintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc./p/lilipSet up for service and break down a variety of different campus events/p/lilipPrepare and/or serve beverages upon request and standard practice/p/lilipWork with our operations team to pack, prep, and stage events/p/li/ulp/ppbiAll positions are part-time casual (19 hours per week or less), non-benefits eligible. Wage per hour is $17.00!/i/b/pp/ppTraining is offered as well as the possibility for advancement within our organization.  Hours vary anywhere from 5-19 per week, depending on events. Actual hours will vary depending on business needs and may include working other events depending on need and candidate availability, including various hours and weekend work.  /pp/ppbuRequired Qualifications include: /u/b/pullipStrong customer service skills/p/lilipDemonstrated experience in being a team player, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment./p/lilipProven ability to follow directions and adhere to quality expectations and standards/p/lilipBartenders must be 18#43; years of age or older./p/lilipPrevious restaurant experience is a plus, but not a must/p/lilipAbility to stand for long periods and perform various motor skills such as lifting (50#43; lbs.), reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, squatting, and grasping./p/lilipAbility to adhere to uniform standards (black slacks, black shoes, and a plain, black, collared button-down dress shirt) and maintain a clean and professional appearance.  /p/lilipA valid driver#39;s license is preferred, but not required.   /p/li/ulp/ppbiStudents are unot/u eligible to apply for this position.
