Process Technician 1st/ 2nd shift - Full-time

pDescription/ppThe Process Tech will be a key member of the team at our Montgomery, Illinois facility supporting multiple CNC machines processing plastic furniture components. This individual needs to be a self-starter who seeks out opportunities to improve the functionality of our manufacturing process./ppbr//ppROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES/pulliRead technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with the CAM setup documents./liliDirect floor support for CNC programming, including set-up and modifications of production machines./liliPerform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications./liliAdjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality./liliTroubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise./liliPerform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening./liliTrain new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulpRequirements/ppnbsp;/ppstrongREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/strong/pulliPrevious experience working in a manufacturing setting./liliPrevious experience working as a CNC technician./liliExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail./liliFamiliarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints./liliSome experience with CAM software. MasterCAM a plus./liliBasic understanding of G and M codes./liliSkilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise./liliAbility to work independently and closely follow directions is essential./liliShould have a positive and professional attitude./li/ulpstrongEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/strong/pulliAssociate degree in CNC programming, a computer-related field or a mechanical field desired./lili5+ years of CNC technical/operations experience preferred./li/ulpstrongPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/strong/pulliProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer./liliMust be able to lift 15 KG at times./liliMust be able to access and navigate all areas in the facility and access all machinery./li/ul
