The following duties may be handled in conjunction with Funder staff, and Program staff where applicable/p pstrongDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/p ul liVerifies, corrects and enters participant information into centralized database;/li liDocumentation Review � Conducts file documentation review at least weekly. Ensures that all documentation is in order including ensuring documents are filled out correctly, compete, and signed. This ensures quality assurance at the program level./li liMonitors database reports to assure consistency with hardcopy records and other logs/li liRuns regular progress reports, and other reports as required by Program Manager; creates customized reports to support shelter management and to provided other needed information on request/li liCoordinates with Case Managers and Intake staff to ensure data intake requirements are met/li liTrains staff on database and answers questions relating to the system/li liSupports any technical and reporting issues for the Program;/li liAssists with program funder audits and monitoring visits;/li liAttends conferences and regular meetings with database contractors and Funder staff/li liOversees the privacy/confidentiality notification processes to meet regulatory guidelines/li liExports data and upload to Funder repository as directed/li liOther duties as may be required to support the program with database and information system expertise./li /ul pstrongESSENTIAL DUTIES:/strong/p ul liDocumentation Review � Conducts file documentation review at least weekly.  Ensures that all documentation is in order including ensuring documents are filled out correctly, compete, and signed. This ensures quality assurance at the program level./li liMonitors accuracy of system reports, verifies database matches hard copy records./li liCreates reports to support Program Manager, shelter management and case managers/li liCoordinates with Case Managers and Intake workers to ensure data entry is accurate and timely/li liTrains program staff on HMIS, subject matter expert for staff/li liSupports any technical and reporting issues for Program; Assists with program funder audits and monitoring visits; Attends conferences and regular meetings with database contractors and Funder/li liExports data and upload to Funder repository monthly/li liOversees the privacy/confidentiality notification processes to meet regulatory guidelines/li liOther duties as required (subject to change based on the needs of the organization)./li liOccasionally assist with special events and public functions/li /ul pQualifications/p pstrongREQUIREMENTS:/strong/p ul liMust be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications/li /ul pstrongEDUCATION:/strong/p ul liHigh School Diploma or equivalent/li /ul pstrongEXPERIENCE:/strong/p ul li1-year experience operating/maintaining database/li /ul pstrongPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:/strong/p ul liBachelor's degree preferred/li liU.S. Veteran preferred./li liFamiliarity with HMIS, Adsystech, and/or Clarity programs/li liExperience working with veterans, people in recovery and/or homelessness individuals/li liBilingual preferred (English and Spanish)/li /ul pemVolunteers of America is an Equal Opportunity employer.
