Interns will have the opportunity to see all aspects of FB Operations including service, associate training, inventory management, associate management, operating procedures, and will have exposure to participating in projects such as menu development and specials dinning events./font/span/ppspan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"strongSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/font/span/pullispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Monitor the restaurant floor leading communication between FOH BOH/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Monitor and execute all food and beverage orders and ensure the quality and appearance of the presentation/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Train in all positions of the restaurants in order to have a better understanding of each position including both BOH and FOH./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Learn how to write schedules, handle cash, office reporting and Social Media/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Assist the outlet manager with cover forecasting, scheduling, payroll labor controls/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Lead opening and closing procedures of assigned outlet/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Manage inventory levels to include: daily product requisition requests, minimizing waste and spoilage, and conducting inventory counts/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Assist department managers with any special assignments/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Conduct pre-shift meetings for the AM PM staff members/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Attend weekly Food Beverage staff meetings and/or team meetings as needed/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Assist management with daily administrative tasks including but not limited to purchasing, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, records control and filing./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Assist in reconciling all operational paperwork including but not limited to guest receipts and vendor invoices./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Work with staff and management team to ensure proper cost controls and inventory levels./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Assist with food and beverage service per the course of order./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Promptly respond to guest with any additional request./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Help other areas of the restaurant./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Training restaurant front of house staff./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Assist with overseeing the dining room flow and ensuring proper distribution of assigned stations./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Resolve escalated guest concerns./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Create and execute special projects and assignments./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Assist in answering telephone calls from guests./font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Perform the responsibilities of Servers, Bartenders, and Host/ess as needed/font/span/li/ulpfont face="Arial" size="3"Shifts vary weekends weekdays between 5:45 am and 10:00 pm./font/p/font/span/pp style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"span style="font-family: Arial;"buspan size="5"font size="3"Skills/Requirements/font/span/u/b/span/pp style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"span style="font-family: Arial;" size="5"font size="3"ullispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Must be enrolled at a college or university seeking a degree in Hospitality or Resort Management/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Previous Food Beverage experience is preferred/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Arial;"font size="3"Must be 18 or older/font/span/li/ul/font/span/pp style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"font face="Arial"strongemApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future./em/strong/font/pp style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"font face="Arial"emThe hourly rate for this position is $20.00.
