Come Join our Team and Grow with Us!!/strong/p pstrongObjective/strong/p pProvides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patientrsquo;s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines./p pstrongPrincipal Responsibilities/strong/p ul liDemonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual./li liUnderstands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program./li liUtilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs./li liNotifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc./li liConducts family and patient education./li liDemonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy./li liDemonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy./li liDemonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act/li liMakes rounds with physicians when necessary./li /ul pstrongQualifications/strong/p ul liCurrently licensed as LPN/LVN in state California/li liOne-year prior nursing management experience preferred, not required./li /ul
