This role requires a strong work ethic, adherence to safety regulations, and a commitment to delivering excellent service./ppbPosition Details/b/pullibReports to:/b Base Operations Coordinator/lilibLocation: /bOnsite/lilibPosition Type: /bFull-Time/lilibFLSA Status: /bNon-Exempt/lilibPay: /bHourly/lilibTravel:/b Up to 40%/li/ulpbEssential Job Functions/b/pulliSafely operate a tractor-trailer truck or straight truck in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies./liliUtilize vacuum trucks to extract, contain, and transport liquid, sludge, and solid waste safely, ensuring proper suction pressure, hose management, and containment procedures to prevent spills and environmental hazards./liliLoad, secure, transport, and unload roll-off containers efficiently while complying with weight restrictions, site-specific protocols, and DOT regulations./liliEnsure all waste materials, including hazardous and non-hazardous substances, are handled, transported, and disposed of in accordance with federal, state, and company guidelines./liliAccurately and efficiently utilize electronic logging devices (eLogs) to track hours of service and compliance./liliConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition./liliPromptly report any issues, mechanical failures, or incidents to dispatch to ensure operational efficiency and safety./liliSecurely load and unload cargo at designated pickup and delivery locations, potentially using liftgates or pallet jacks when necessary./liliFollow assigned routes and delivery schedules, utilizing GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries./liliOperate and maintain vacuum trucks for the safe and efficient transportation of liquids, sludge, and other materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations./liliAssist crew members when needed, fostering teamwork and a collaborative work environment./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpMinimum Job Requirements/pulliHighschool Diploma of equivalent (GED)/liliValid Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and Drivers License required with no restrictions and an acceptable driving record/liliStrong understanding of road rules and regulations and vehicle maintenance and safety regulations/liliAbility to pass a DOT and Hazmat physical examination/liliPrevious experience in truck driving, equipment transportation, or related field/liliStrong work ethic, reliability, and dedication to safety/liliAbility to work under pressure in emergency situations/liliPhysical stamina and capability to perform labor-intensive tasks/liliCommitment to safety and teamwork/liliAbility to work autonomously on projects without direct supervision/liliAbility interpret and follow written and verbal instructions and assignments/liliExperience working outside in all types of weather conditions/liliDetail orientated with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic work environment/liliStrong organizational skills/liliExcellent verbal and written communication abilities when interacting with customers, regulators, direct reports, and managers/liliAbility to travel (within an assigned region)/li/ulpbPreferred Job Requirements/b/pulliAbility to drive a manual vehicle/liliExperience operating roll-off boxes/liliHazmat endorsement/liliBilingual proficiency is strongly preferred/li/ulpbWork Schedule/Work Environment/b/pulliThe standard working hours are 7 AM – 4 PM.
