pGrand Canyon University has an opening for bAdjunct Clinical Nursing faculty members,/b and we invite applications from individuals who are enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with our Nursing students./pdivp/ppbThis PRN adjunct position requires travel within the Tucson, AZ area to directly observe student spanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanspanperformance, when/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span/span scheduled for clinical rotations./b/pp/ppbWhat you will do:/b/pulliReinforce didactic content, teaching the knowledge and skills needed for pre-licensure nursing/liliCollaborate with content area faculty to provide expert evaluation and documentation of student progress toward clinical objectives/liliParticipate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs/liliRemain current with new trends and development in the specific field of nursing practice/liliMaintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation/liliUphold the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession as well as the pillars of the University/liliTravel to GCU student sites, directly observing student performance/liliParticipate in and/or support of the university program in all areas including an evident congruence with the philosophy and direction of the institution, and service to the community/liliProvide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University/li/ulp/ppbWhat you need:/b/pullibspanBSN required. BSNs will be required to enroll in /span/bbspana GCU MSN Leadership or MSN Education program, immediately upon hire, paid for by GCU uOR/u/span/b/lilibspanBSN with proof of at least 9 credits/3 classes in any graduate program uOR/u approved national certification related to the content area being taught.
