Your role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company#39;s goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values./pp/ppbiESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/i/b/ppMajor areas of responsibility/ management include, but are not limited to:/pulliProvide Spa services to guests in a timely, courteous and efficient manner including, but not limited to, skin care, hair removal, nail services (if licensed), body treatments, foot soaks/treatments, etc./liliMaintain an agreed upon retail sales to service ratio with the exceptional products, gifts and accessories provided./liliMaintain an agreed upon minimum upsell percentage./liliAttend pre/post shift meetings/liliParticipate fully in maintaining backbar expenses/liliComplete all necessary record-keeping tasks as they pertain to the operation of the Spa/liliParticipate in all advanced training/liliEscorts guests to and from treatment rooms in a graceful manner, attending to any immediate needs throughout the Spa visit./liliAssist in providing information to any inquiries, help to coordinate all guest requests for services and maintain impeccable yourself and spa cleanliness of the Spa./liliEnsure guest comfort and safety throughout the treatment.          /liliMaintain work area with necessary supplies, sanitation and disinfection procedures ensuring room is immaculate at all times (tables draped, counters and products clean)./liliPerform monthly and quarterly deep-clean responsibilities./liliAssist with cleanliness of all spa areas including all locker rooms./liliAssist fellow associates with daily operations to support healthy teamwork and contribute to the success of the spa./liliAssist in any other function as requested by Spa Manager, Director of Rooms or General Manager as it pertains to the spa, lounges, indoor/outdoor area, retail area, pool area./li/ulp/ppbiQUALIFICATIONS /i/b/pulliHigh school or equivalent education/liliAbility to communicate clearly and speak, read, write and understand English/lili2#43; years’ experience as an Esthetician in a stand-alone spa or hotel spa environment or equivalent experience. Less experience is acceptable with demonstration of advanced training./liliCalifornia State Esthetician License from Department Consumer Affairs (DCA)./li/ulp/ppbiPREFERRED/i/b /pulliLuxury experience strongly preferred/liliBachelor’s Degree/liliAdvanced training in holistic and/or clinical skin care, aromatherapy and body treatments/liliKnowledge of cosmetic ingredients, botanical ingredients, thalassotherapy, reflexology, Ayurveda or any holistic wellness field/modality/liliKnowledge of general wellness practices such as yoga, meditation, etc. /liliBachelor’s Degree and/or advanced holistic and clinical training/li/ulp/ppbiPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/i/b /pp/ppPosition requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length.  Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments of the Resort on a timely basis. Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment./pp/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ppspanThe pay scale for this position would be $13.20/hour. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
