This role requires exceptional decision-making skills, strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task as part of a team. brbrThe Escrow Officer is responsible for handling real estate transactions by establishing new escrow accounts, managing funds, processing documents for closings, and completing settlements in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position plays a key role in making the dream of home ownership a reality.  brbrThis is an in-office position located at 1501 S Church Ave, Ste 103, Tampa, FLp/pp/ppbspanWhat You’ll Do/span/b/pulliComplete real estate escrow transactions by determining requirements /liliAct as a neutral liaison between file parties, adhere to company policy, and monitor and mitigate risk to the company /liliResponsible for ensuring that all funds are properly accounted for and disbursed in accordance with the terms of the contract and our company policy /liliPrepare regular reports on the status of the escrow account and provide these reports to the parties involved in the transaction /liliExamine property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents /liliPrepare legal documents for the closure of the sale /liliComplete closing by recording and filing documents, preparing, and distributing final closing statements and title /li/ulp/ppbspanWhat You’ll Bring/span/b/pulli2-4 years of escrow-related experience /liliExperience directly handling escrow transactions/liliOpenness to new technology and proprietary programs; adjusts easily to new workflow /liliPassion for helping customers while maintaining a professional and positive attitude /liliExcellent verbal and written communication with both our internal team and external customers; comfortable using various types of communication to meet customer needs /liliProblem solver with strong organizational skills, is detail oriented, and knows how to navigate internal and external resources to resolve issues /liliThrives in contributing to a team working together to deliver beyond customer expectations  /liliComfortable guiding and supporting future talent learning the business /liliKnowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies  /liliValid spanLicensing/Certification/span as required by applicable state /liliHigh school diploma or equivalent /li/ulp/pp#LI-TG1/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pPay Range: $24.42 - $32.56 Hourlyp /pThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
