Evaluates quality of ultrasonic images. Provides a safe patient environment. Participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations./p pstrongEDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:/strong/p pMinimum Required: Completion of formal program in Ultrasound and certified with ARRT or ARDMS or obtained within 6 months BCLS certified./p pstrongPreferred/strong: Associate Degree in ultrasound technology or radiography./p pstrongADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/strong: Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication and clinical practice relevant to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
