Retail Sales Associates are responsible for all aspects of customer service, running registers, merchandising, and store maintenance.  /p pstrongPrimary Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liGreet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end./li liAccurately and efficiently operate the register./li liBe knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements to ensure that customer questions can be answered and to assist with selling product; support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs throughout the year./li liMaintain a neat and organized front end work area./li liAssist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store./li liCommunicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary./li liMaintain the cleanliness of the overall store./li liComplete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned. strongem/em/strong/li /ul ul/ul pstrongQualifications:/strong/p ul liHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred/li liAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis./li liAbility to communicate effectively./li liAbility to preserve confidentiality of information./li liAccuracy and attention to detail./li liAbility to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines./li liOutstanding interpersonal and listening skills./li liMust have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and Associates./li /ul pstrongPhysical Requirements:/strong/p ul liAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds./li liAbility to push and pull up to 35 pounds./li /ul pThis pay represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  Pay ranges may be different in other locations.  Actual associate pay will be based on work location, position, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
