In lieu of 2 years of experience in SPD, a minimum of one year of sterile processing experience plus one year of leadership experience is required. A minimum of 6 months of Sterile Processing or Surgical Technologist experience is preferred./font/font/pfont face="Times New Roman"font face="Times New Roman"bEDUCATION: /b/font/fontp/ppfont face="Times New Roman"font face="Times New Roman"High School diploma or equivalent is required./font/font/ppfont face="Times New Roman" style="font-size:14px"font face="Times New Roman"span style="font-weight:800"LICENSURE: /span/font/font/pp/ppfont face="Times New Roman"font face="Times New Roman"Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the IAHCSMM or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from the CBSPD is required or must be obtained within 18 months of hire./font/font/pfont face="Times New Roman"font face="Times New Roman"bSPECIAL SKILLS: /b/font/fontp/ppfont face="Times New Roman"font face="Times New Roman"Demonstrated leadership skills. Thorough knowledge of all Sterile Processing equipment/techniques, using approved standard procedures.
