pDescription/ppAs a CNA you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our residents, assisting with activities of daily living, promoting their independence and ensuring their comfort and well-being./ppbr//ppemstrongSchedule: Full-Time, Weekends, Nights, Days, All Shifts Available, 8 hour shifts/strong/em/ppbr//ppemstrong*We are a brand new facility opening with short term rehab and excellent staff to patient ratios!*/strong/em/ppbr//ppemstrongPrimary Responsibilities and Duties:/strong/em/pulliProvide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding./liliAssist residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and position techniques to ensure their safety and comfort./liliMonitor residents’ vital signs, intake and output, and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team./liliAssist with resident admission, transfers, and discharges, including orienting new residents to their surroundings and helping them settle into their rooms./liliSupport residents' social and recreational activities by engaging them in meaningful interactions, escorting them to group activities and providing companionship./liliMaintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, including making beds, tidying rooms, and ensuring cleanliness and infection control standards are met./liliAssist with resident dining services, including meal set-up, feeding assistance, and recording food and fluid intake as directed./liliDocument care provided and resident observations accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements./liliParticipate in educational opportunities and training programs to maintain CNA verification and enhance skills and knowledge in geriatric care./liliAssist new CNA team members with training and getting actuated with policies, procedures and the layout of the facility./liliParticipate in team meetings and contribute to resident care planning and goal setting./liliContribute to a positive and supportive work environment by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication skills./liliPerform all other duties assigned./li/ulpRequirements/ppemstrongJob Qualifications:/strong/em/pulliCurrent certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state you work./liliCPR certification./lili1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar medical setting preferred./liliAbility to build rapport with residents through a compassionate and caring demeanor./liliCommitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care with empathy and compassion./liliStrong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning and intervention implementation./li/ulpemstrongPhysical Requirements:/strong/em/pulliWork performed in a medical setting due to the need to care for residents in person./liliMust be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch, and twist./liliStamina to stand and move about the facility to perform frequent rounds and respond to emergent situations as needed./liliEmotional resilience and ability to cope with the physical and emotional demands of working with residents who may have complex healthcare needs./liliCapability to lift and transfer residents safely, with proper body mechanics and assistance as needed./liliRequired vision includes close, vision, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus./liliMaintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the department supervisor/manager./liliThe job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations./liliThe ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without "giving out" or fatiguing./liliThe ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position./liliThe ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects./li/ul
