Systems Engineer Co-op - Fall 2026

Overview: p style="margin: 0px;"Systems Engineer Co-ops will be assigned to work with an experienced project team. Percentages represent the tasks relative effort but will vary from project to project./pp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"strongInstrumentation Electrical Design/strong/pulliCreate instrument lists by examining PID drawings/liliCompile submittal and procurement documentation for controls and instrument hardware/liliProvide technical support for panel fabrication technicians/liliInspect completed control enclosures/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"strongSystem Design and Configuration/strong/pulliParticipate in customer design review meetings/liliAssemble development system using project hardware and computers/liliConfigure user interface and HMI screens/liliConfigure DDC, PLC and/or DCS control algorithms/liliDraft system documentation from templates/liliAssist is customer demonstrations and acceptance testing/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"strongOnsite System Startup/strong/pulliWorks in a supervised role and/or with a team at a customer site/liliInstall project software and configuration onto site systems/liliParticipate in point-to-point loop checks/liliPerform instrumentation and software calibration and tuning/liliParticipate in functional tests of all systems/liliTroubleshoot installation discrepancies/liliProgram field modifications as required/liliAssist with developing commissioning test plans and documentation updates/redlines/liliAssist with developing training documentation/presentation on operations and maintenance of system/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;" /p Qualifications: ulliFull-time student status/liliStrong academic achievement, maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or above/liliEnrollment in a Bachelor's program in a Technical Field, related to Engineering, Systems, or Software/liliPassionate about problem solving and developing solutions/liliCandidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without RoviSys sponsorship/li/ul Compensation Benefits Highlights: ulliCompetitive Hourly Rate: $24/hr/liliTravel Perks: Travel incentives + per-diem packages for field assignments/liliGrow With Us: Ongoing training, certifications, and professional development support /li/ul
