Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability./liliPromote store events and promotions: Inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance their shopping experience and drive sales./liliResolve customer concerns: Address customer issues and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible./liliCommunicate needs to management: Regularly inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and any customer feedback in a timely manner./liliSupport team and company goals: Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment./li/ulp/ppbQUALIFICATIONS/b/pp/pulliAt least 16 years old/liliAvailable to work a flexible schedule/liliComfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)/liliGood communicator with the ability to engage with customers/liliAble to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally/liliUse basic information-gathering skills to solve problems/liliAbility to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on- the-job training/li/ulp/ppbESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/b/pp/pulliFrequently operate cash register/liliFrequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet/liliFrequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock/liliFrequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor/liliFrequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers.
