As part of our corporate culture, we recognize our role in meeting the current generation’s needs, while preserving environmental quality and protecting the needs of future generations./p p /p pWe are looking for a student intern at our Festus, MO plant who want to become part of the solution, help us continue providing quality products, and grow our talent and leader pool./p h2Responsibilities/h2 ul liIntroduction and participation in preventative and predictive electrical maintenance program including life cycle equipment analysis, on-line and off-line equipment monitoring programs, various NDT electrical testing platforms, routine electrical motor maintenance and electrical switch gear maintenance programs.   /li liProvide support for electrical and instrumentation personnel and contractors to include support and oversite with planning, coordinating, daily electrical plant improvements and electrical CAPEX project improvements.  /li liSupport electrical maintenance activities in the plant and quarry, which includes the repairing and adjusting of existing electrical equipment and installing of new equipment./li liInspect field instrumentation, wiring, calibration, equipment condition and proper installation, ensuring optimum operating performance./li liParticipate in the calibration of instrumentation and control devices, testing systems for proper operation after repair, working from schematic drawings, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s instructions.  /li liInvolvement in electrical maintenance and construction contracts, and maintaining records of costs on all project work./li /ul h2Qualifications/h2 pStrong interpersonal skills, self-starter and inquisitive by nature/p pSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, Project, VISO/p pSolid reasoning, analytical, technical and communication skills/p pMust possess excellent work ethic/p pMust be able to multi-task/p p /p pstrongDesired Major(s):/strong  Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering/p p /p pstrongDesired Class Level(s):/strong  Sophomore, Junior, Senior/p p /p pstrongSalary Level:/strong  Paid - $30.00 per hour plus monthly housing stipend/p p /p pstrongDuration:/strong  12 weeks, 40 hours per week/p p /p pstrongemBuzzi Unicem USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
