bPurpose:/bbrPerforms imaging procedures at an advanced level not requiring constant supervision. Competently performs a variety of advanced technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.brbrbResponsibilities:/bbrulliMonitors quality control activities and demonstrates advanced level of knowledge in nuclear medicine by providing patient care as defined by the most up to day protocols and procedures./liliInteracts with patients and co-workers by displaying the values of caring, listening, dignity and respect./liliDemonstrates the ability to function independently, and is able to cover off shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, where applicable, while continually communicating with lead and management team./liliPerforms all responsibilities of Level I Nuclear Medicine tech including maintains proper records of radiopharmaceuticals and calculates, measures and records patient dose. Performs all quality control checks on imaging and non-imaging equipment. Properly identifies all patients and provides instructions for exams.
