We are looking for security officers that have experience in working security on a construction site. Must know safety and OSHA standards for working at a construction site.  This is an outside only post in the downtown PHX area.lt;brgt;lt;stronggt;lt;brgt;Some of the duties included but not all.lt;/stronggt; lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;Using silvertrac for DARslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Patrol the fenced areas.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Working outside on your shift.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Check all gates and fence lines.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Do not let anyone on site overnight.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Watch for fires or other emergencies.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Firewatch. every 3-4 hours.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Report all pipe leaks, issues as needed.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Keep vagrants/homeless people off site and away from the construction areas and their closed sidewalk and office areas.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Watch for theft, vandals, unauthorized people.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Be able to use silvertrac for reporting hourly and incident reports.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Patrolling and checking 2 areas an hour on silvertrac.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Work mostly alone or the whole shift without supervision.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Call 911 as needed or call police, fire or ambulance.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;watching for fence jumpers or and keeping people off the cranelt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Answer the site phone as calls may come in overnight.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Be detailed, aware, and alert at all times.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Walking for patrols every hour, walking up and down stairs.lt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt;lt;divgt; lt;stronggt;lt;brgt;What to know-lt;/stronggt;lt;brgt;Must be able to work alone and handle homeless persons with respect and care.lt;brgt;17 floor building. Stairs only. NOTE- you do not have to walk all floors each night, but you do have to walk some stairs each shift. Be able to walk stairs, up and down a few times a shift.lt;brgt;Must be in good physical shape/ fit.lt;brgt;Walking, foot patrols, walking stairs.lt;brgt;Work alone over nights.
