pstrong style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"Pay Range: $13.00 - $16 / hour/strong/ppDescription - Is involved in the preparation of food and has little or no control over the menu nor of any other worker in the kitchen.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/ppDuties and Responsibilities/pulliPrepare food in accordance to the menu instructions./liliMake servers aware of any necessary up-charges for changes made./liliEnsure that there is an adequate amount of food prepped for the estimated sales for each shift./liliPrepare dips and salads, pre-portion entrees, cook up bacon, make croutons, cook chicken breasts in accordance with company guidelines./liliEnsure that food is handled correctly to prevent cross contamination and food born illnesses./liliKnow the importance of food allergies and watch tickets for special cooking instructions./liliMake sure all prepped items have a date seal and use items in correct order./liliHelp put up and store food deliveries rotating stock to ensure freshness of products./liliMake manager aware of any items that are left off, arrived damaged or were received in error./liliNobody under 18-yrs of age is permitted to operate a slicer or a deep fryer./liliBe familiar with the proper usage and cleaning of slicers and other kitchen appliances./li/ulpSkills and Specifications/pulliKnowledge of knife skills.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/liliKnowledge of proper technique in food preparation./liliShould be able to multi-task/liliShould be able to handle high pressure situations/li/ulpEducation and Qualifications/pulliNo higher education is required.nbsp;Must be able to read and understand English./liliKnow and abide by the Food Handling requirements for your locale./liliServe Safe classes are available several times a year.
