pbHourly Pay Range:/b/p$18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.p/pp/ppbPosition Highlights:/b/pullipspanPosition: Medical Office Receptionist/span/p/lilipspanLocation: 15 S McHenry Rd Buffalo Grove/span/p/lilipspanFull Time: 40 hours/week/span/p/lilipspanHours: Monday - Friday Typically one evening until 7pm.   Mon-Thurs, 700-500 on Fridays. 8am-12 noon on Saturdays. Clinic is open 7am-7pm/span/p/lilipspanTravel: No/span/p/li/ulp/ppbWhat you will do:/b/pullipspanGreets incoming patients and visitors at various points of service within the facility providing congenial and hospitable customer service.  Refers patients and visitors to appropriate department or resource.  Notifies appropriate resource of patients and visitors arrival in a timely manner.  Assures patient demographics and eligibility are correct./span/p/lilipspanReceives and forwards telephone calls and takes and relays messages per protocol./span/p/lilipspanRegisters new patients and schedules appointments for providers and services.  Reschedules appointments and follows up on cancelled and missed appointments./span/p/lilipspanCollects co pays and balances and makes follow up appointments as necessary./span/p/lilipspanResponds to patient and visitor questions in a timely and appropriate manner utilizing knowledge of the organizations policies and procedures./span/p/lilipspanMay communicate with other departments, team members, physician offices, the hospital, or patients in response to requests for information, follow-up, or problem resolution./span/p/lilipspanPerforms various clerical duties as needed in assigned work areas.  May order supplies for work area, open mail etc.  Operates standard office machines including computer, calculator, photocopier, fax and credit card terminal./span/p/lilipspanMay assist with medical records and clinical personnel as needed./span/p/lilipspanMaintains work and waiting areas in a neat and professional manner./span/p/lilipspanMay perform a variety of special projects as assigned./span/p/lilipspanAdheres to all NCH standards, policies and procedures./span/p/li/ulp/ppbWhat you will need:/b/pullipbEducation:/bspan High school diploma or GED/span/p/lilipbExperience:/bspan One year of customer service work experience or interaction with the public required.
