Custodians spend their days picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors, cleaning and stocking bathrooms, making sure buildings are secure, cleaning windows, and minor maintenance. While the majority of the work is inside buildings, some work will involve keeping lawns or sidewalks clean, tending to ornamental gardens, trash removal and parking lot cleaning./p pstrongPRINCIPLE DUTIES:/strong/p ul liMaintains floors, mats, and carpets within the Community./li liPicks up and removes trash and recycling from trash rooms, offices and other locations within the Community./li liCleans all public areas including window cleaning as assigned, and pressure washing entrances and sidewalks./li liProvides preventive maintenance to housekeeping machines such as vacuums, carpet shampooers and floor machines./li liCompletes all meeting room setups in auditorium, arts and crafts room, lobby, roll away beds, etc./li liMaintains all grounds, golf courses, tennis courts clean throughout shift./li liInvolved in resident annual deep cleaning and cleaning turnover units as assigned./li liProtects Community property/equipment and make sure there are no defects./li liNotify supervisors on any damages, deficits and disturbances./li liAttends daily shift kick-off meeting and participates in daily stretches./li liAssist other co-workers as assigned./li liDeal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience./li liObserves and notifies supervisor about noticeable changes in a Residents health, demeanor or disposition./li liOther duties as assigned by Department Director./li /ul pstrongWhat you will bring:/strong/p ul liPrevious janitorial experience strongly preferred./li liAbility to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic./li liPrevious floor maintenance experience strongly preferred./li liKnowledge of floor care procedures, techniques, and supplies preferred./li liLegally authorized to work in the United States/li liAbility to drive utility vehicles safely./li /ul pPlease apply to this job or look at other available positions using the link below!/p pa href="https://reataglen.com/current-openings/"https://reataglen.com/current-openings//a/p pOur company is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
