CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide. /p pThe Non-CDL Truck Driver will drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area./p ul listrong1st Shift/strong: 4:00AM - 12:30PM, Monday to Friday/li listrongPay:/strong starting at $24.09/hr./li /ul p /p pstrongDuties and Responsibilities/strong/p ul liInspects the truck pre- and post-trip./li liAccurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports./li liEnsures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit./li liAssists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit./li liAcquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents./li liMonitors the maintenance and repair of the truck./li liProvide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively./li liResponsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations./li liOther duties as assigned./li /ul pstrongRequired Skills and Experience/strong/p ul li2+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience./li liValid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record./li liCapacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability./li liGood hand-eye coordination./li liThoroughness and attention to detail in task completion./li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills./li /ul div div pstrongPreferred Skills and Experience/strong/p ul liPrevious experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus./li liStrong commitment to customer service./li /ul pstrongEducational Requirements/strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred./li /ul pstrongPhysical Demands and Working Conditions/strong/p ul liThe ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 85 lbs., if necessary./li liFlexible shifts with the capability to undertake overnight trips 1-2 nights per week./li liComfortable sitting for extended periods./li /ul p /p pstrongYou will love working in our family-oriented company!
