You’ll gain hands-on experience in a publicly-traded, global real estate investment trust while developing the skills, confidence, and relationships that can shape your future./span/ppspan style="font-size:14px" /span/ppspan style="font-size:14px"Join us from /spanbspan style="font-size:14px"June 17 to August 24, 2026, /span/bspan style="font-size:14px"and experience what it means to build a meaningful career rooted in purpose, strengthened by connection, and driven by opportunity./span/ppRealty Income is looking for a Real Estate Development Intern to join our in-house Development team for the summer of 2026./pp/ppbWhat You Will Be Working On:/b/pp/pulliReviewing budgets, underwriting, and analyzing related economics./liliAssist with broker, developer, and tenant communications./liliPreparing and presenting financial analyses and reports to the Investment Committee./liliManaging Development pipeline updates amp; tracking and Quarterly Reporting./liliAnalyze comparable properties and rents in Costar and other platforms to provide relevant market data for deal transactions./liliGather market and trade area information and documents related to zoning, property taxes, demographics, easements and use restrictions./liliEffectively utilize the Marshall Valuation Services cost guide, existing budgets, and other tools to determine replacement costs of building and site improvements./liliCollaborate openly and effectively with the Acquisitions, Asset Management, Treasury, and Accounting teams./liliProvide support on department wide ad hoc initiatives./li/ulp/ppbWhat You Need to Be Successful:/b/ppWe are looking for a student who will be a rising Senior during the summer of 2026, with a degree focus in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Architecture, or Construction with a minimum GPA of 3.2 and experience with the following qualifications:/pulliProficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint./liliKnowledge of MS Project, Smartsheet, or other work planning application./liliCritical thinker with the ability to synthesize complex information and conceptualize solutions./liliAbility to foster strong, collaborative relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders./liliIntellectually curious, excellent analytical, critical thinking skills with strong business acumen./liliAn adaptive learner that displays excellent judgment and critical thinking skills which enable timely and appropriately risk balanced advice and guidance./liliA team player who displays self-confidence, encourages collaboration, and establishes credibility that earns organizational trust from superiors and peers who can find common ground in solving problems./liliDemonstrated integrity and commitment to the highest ethical standards and personal values./liliSelf-motivation and initiative to organize and prioritize work, performing the job with minimal supervision./li/ulp/ppThis is a hybrid role with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday required in-office./ppRealty Income is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
