In this role you will coordinate the planning, design, construction, and inspection of capital infrastructure projects (water, wastewater, stormwater)./pp style="margin: 0px;"br /Our professional engineers and technicians successfully oversee project construction from pre-construction through finalization with an outstanding track record for cost and schedule containment. Our ACI, SAT, and NICET certified construction professionals have extensive on-the-job experience in supervision, observation, safety oversight and inspection with ongoing training that ensures required daily schedules are adhered to and all materials are procured and constructed according to plans and specifications. We work with our clients to achieve the optimum value, schedule, and project quality for heavy highway, single and multi-span bridges, intersection and traffic signal improvements, marine improvements, water/wastewater transmission, building and vertical project management, park and recreation construction, and condition assessment and asset inventory./pp style="margin: 0px;"br /Our construction professionals understand the impact construction projects have on the surrounding communities and foster public relations and communications with the local business owners, residents, and elected officials in the surrounding communities./p Responsibilities: ulliDevelop and manage capital budgets and schedules./liliReview and approve engineering designs, plans, specifications, and contract documents./liliSolicit and manage contracts with consultants, contractors, and vendors./liliProvide oversight of construction phase: inspection, quality assurance/control, safety compliance, change orders./liliCoordinate with internal units (operations, maintenance, permitting, environmental compliance)./liliEnsure regulatory compliance (e.g. Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, state/local permits)./liliMonitor project performance metrics and provide progress reports to senior management./li/ul Qualifications: ulli0-2+ years of related construction inspection experience is required./liliBachelor's degree in civil engineering is required./lilip style="margin: 0px;"Strong technical knowledge in hydraulics, structural design, water/wastewater systems./p/lilip style="margin: 0px;"Experience with project management tools, cost estimating, scheduling (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)./p/lilip style="margin: 0px;"Familiarity with local and federal environmental regulations and permitting./p/liliValid Driver's License is required./liliTeam player who enjoys working collaboratively with others./liliStrong mathematics skills and attention to detail./liliAbility to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions./li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"Compensation: $24.00 to $36.00 per hour span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;"(depending on qualifications) /span/p Physical Requirements: ulliAbility to work outdoors on job sites for extended periods of time is required./li/ul What We Offer: p style="margin: 0px;"At Colliers Engineering Design, our people are our most important resource.
