pThe Rights amp; Clearances Coordinator is responsible for researching, sourcing, and securing third‑party materials for use in NFL Films programming. This role works closely with producers, post‑production, media management, business affairs, and project managers to fulfill content needs while ensuring all material is properly licensed according to deadlines, budgets, and legal requirements./p pstrongEssential Functions/strong/p ul liResearch, request, and acquire third‑party materials including—but not limited to—photos, footage, newspaper articles, social media posts, podcasts, and other intellectual property./li liNavigate and research archival collections, stock footage libraries, and professional photo agencies to locate hard‑to‑find materials./li liScreen down cuts/programs and create detailed clearance logs to document all third‑party material usage./li liSecure licenses, permissions, and releases for all third‑party content used in NFL Films programming./li liServe as a resource for production teams regarding rights, usage restrictions, and clearance options at all stages of production./li liTrack, organize, and maintain accurate records for all research and clearance documentation including agreements, invoices, purchase orders, and correspondence./li liCommunicate with internal departments to move acquired materials through workflows and deliver them to producers./li liMaintain strong administrative procedures and uphold departmental standards./li liLearn and use internal rights/clearance tracking systems and screening tools./li /ul pstrongRequired Education and Experience/strong/p ul liBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience./li liMinimum 2 years dedicated Rights amp; Clearances or Archival Producing experience./li liFoundational understanding of third‑party rights, licensing, and clearances./li /ul pstrongPreferred Education and Experience/strong/p ul liExperience in post‑production or within a similar archival/rights/clearances environment./li liExperience with AirTable or similar systems./li liExperience navigating and interpreting EDLs./li liProven negotiation experience with major archives, stock footage/photo libraries, and independent rights holders/li /ul pstrongKey Attributes / Characteristics/strong/p ul liExcellent written and verbal communication skills./li liExceptional organizational and time‑management skills./li liStrong problem‑solving ability; resourceful and proactive./li liAbility to manage sensitive or confidential information./li liFlexibility to be on call for occasional weekend work./li liComfort working in deadline‑driven environments with shifting priorities./li /ul pstrongPhysical Demands/strong/p ul liOccasional handling of physical archival materials such as footage reels, tapes, newspapers, and photo collections./li /ul pstrongSalary / Pay Range/strong/p pThis job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job.
