As a Senior Production Worker at Arcosa Lightweight you’ll produce material and use machinery such as excavators, dozer, motor graders, skid steers, water truck, maintenance trucks, and other yard vehicles to move materials and products between workstations and/or receiving and storage locations. The Senior Production Worker will also ensure proper identification of parts and materials. This includes any heavy equipment checklist/inspections /span/li lispan Be able to operate front end loader /span/li lispanRun clinker pile and spec material clay shed via front end loader /span/li lispan Close off spec doors to coolers /span/li lispanHaul stack dust once a shift/span/li lispan Remove logs from cooler /span/li lispanOil bowl mills /span/li lispan Fill and maintain coal hopper /span/li lispan Maintain reversible belt /span/li lispan Perform all tasks in a safe manner which includes wearing proper personal protective equipment and follow safety regulations established by this company /span/li lispan Perform other duties as required /span/li lispan Keep water level pumped down at eight belt /span/li lispan Run clinkers for the screening and crushing department /span/li lispan Grease and inspect crusher screens in finishing plant /span/li lispanHelp clay feed attendant to keep clay chopped in clay shed /span/li lispanRun sweeper to keep concrete clean, washing of scrubber slabs /span/li lispanAssist in turning and replacement of hammers in crusher /span/li lispanDrive dump truck during cleanup of spillage in plant /span/li lispanMaintain the operation of the cooler reversible belts which includes keeping tail pulleys clean and keeping water on belts when needed /span/li lispanMaintain the operation of the coal mills which include maintaining proper oil levels, water circulation through coal mills, grease appropriate areas when needed and keeping coal area clean /span/li lispanMaintain the operation of cooler drives and keep area around the coolers clean /span/li lispan Keep tail pulley and catwalk cleaned on stockpile belts /span/li lispanRemove clinkers from cooler pits and stack in designated areas /span/li lispanKeep all above areas clean /span/li lispanGrease equipment in all areas of production /span/li lispan Other duties as assigned/span/li /ul pstrongWhat You'll Need:/strong/p ul lispanPrompt, regular, and predictable attendance /span/li lispan The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up/spanspan to 60 pounds. /span/li lispanThe ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy) /span/li lispanHigh school diploma or GED equivalent /span/li lispanA minimum of 1 year of experience /span/li lispan Ability to operate at least 2 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.) /span/li lispan Remove logs from cooler /span/li lispanOn the job training /span/li lispan Operating front end loader /span/li lispan Operate bobcat /span/li lispanOperate dump truck/span/li /ul pspanThe above statements describe the general nature and responsibilities of the position.
