The Food Service Worker performs a variety of functions related to the safe assembly, distribution and service of food for Hospital patients, visitors and staff.lt;brgt;lt;brgt;Does this position require Patient Care?lt;brgt;Nolt;brgt;lt;brgt;Essential Functionslt;brgt;-Attends department meetings, monthly in-services, training classes, etc as assigned. lt;brgt;br-Anticipates and meets customer needs; takes appropriate steps to rectify issues. lt;brgt;br-Maintains cleanliness of work areas. lt;brgt;br-Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of department equipment. lt;brgt;br-Demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude. lt;brgt;br-Adheres to all HACCP standards. lt;brgt;br-Alerts supervisor to any concerns, discrepancies, product shortages, etc. lt;brgt;br-Actively supports and upholds department goals to maintain or improve operations and customer satisfaction. lt;brgt;br-Works in various tray line, cafeteria and kitchen positions. Sets up and stocks food station for meal service. Assembles patient trays and delivers trays from patient rooms. lt;brgt;br-Cleans station, equipment, and floors at the end of each meal. lt;brgt;br-Position may include operating dish machine, trash compactor, mopping floors. lt;brgt;br-Prepares additional food items for patient tray line. lt;brgt;br-Regularly works on sanitation projects assigned by manager. lt;brgt;br-Assists with training of new employees as well as cross training of fellow employees. lt;brgt;p style="text-align:inherit"br / /pdivdivdivdivdivdivdivp style="text-align:left"ubQualifications/b/u/p/div/div/div/div/div/div/divEducation High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
