Concessions Supervisor

pThe Concessions Supervisor is responsible for the operation and cleanliness of a concession operation within waterpark.bspan /spanbr /br /Pay Rate:  $16.50 per hourbr //bspan style="text-decoration: underline;"bbr /Major Duties/Specific Tasks/b/span/pullispan/spanspanAssists with operation of facility by preparing and/or serving food and beverages, maintaining shelf stock of supplies, dispensing of equipment, which may include lifting of heavy objects, and providing instructions on use./span/lilispan/spanspanAssists with maintenance of facilities by maintaining a clean work area, providing general care of equipment materials, picking up ground trash, emptying trash cans, cleaning of restrooms, and performing manual labor related duties as assigned./span/lilispan/spanspanAssists with the stocking of facility to include loading and unloading of food shipment, rotating inventory, and moving items throughout the park./span/lilispan/spanspanAttends and participates in staff meetings and in-service training./span/lilispan/spanspanReports unsafe conditions, matters of theft, or illegal action to the Manager on Duty or Supervisor./span/lilispan/spanspanCarries out additional duties as assigned by the Park Manager or Supervisor on Duty./span/li/ulpspan style="text-decoration: underline;"strongMinimum Qualifications/strong/span/pulliHigh school diploma and two years of food service experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience./liliWorking knowledge of and experience in the operation of food service facilities./liliWorking knowledge of current sanitation standards and ability to adhere to these standards./liliMust have certification or be able to obtain certification in “ServSafe”./liliWorking knowledge of NOVA Parks standards and ability to adhere to standards./liliDemonstrated supervisory skills./liliAbility to deal effectively with the public./liliAbility to be flexible in meeting a variety of demands and conditions./liliAbility to operate a cash register./liliWorking knowledge of computers./liliStrength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions./liliAbility to perform a variety of duties including custodial tasks./liliAvailability to work a variable work schedule, which may include early and late hours, and weekends and holidays./liliPossession of or ability to obtain necessary licenses or certifications./liliRequired to purchase and wear standard uniform./liliSpecialized duties and assignments related to a facility may require special training and/or certifications. /li/ul
