Admissions Supervisor

pThe Admissions Supervisor is responsible for the operation and cleanliness of all admission operations.bspan /spanbr /br /Pay Rate:  $15.75 per hourbr //bbr /span style="text-decoration: underline;"bMajor Duties/Specific Tasks/b/span/pulliSupervises operation which may include opening and closing of facility, ordering and maintaining supplies, care and use of resources, and handling cash./liliSupervises work of other seasonal employees (admissions attendants, party planner) which may include scheduling, training, motivation and control./liliEnsures proper inventory of resale merchandise./liliAssists with inventory controls./liliEnsures cleanliness of entryway, lobby, restrooms, and birthday party areas (inside out)./liliEnsures NOVA Parks safety, business standards, and other standards inherent to the particular operation are being followed./liliAssists with public relations by greeting waterpark visitors, handling inquiries, and providing information and assistance, and informing patrons of rules and regulations./liliPrepare and oversee special functions./liliPrepare and maintain appropriate records./liliPerform tasks of Admissions Attendants./liliPerform manual labor and routine maintenance as directed./liliAttend and participate in staff meetings and in-service training./liliReports unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty./liliCarries out additional duties as assigned by the Park Specialist, Pool Manager or Supervisor on Duty.span/span/li/ulpspan style="text-decoration: underline;"span style="text-decoration: underline;"strongMinimum Qualificationbr //strong/span/span/pulliHigh school diploma and two years of progressively responsible experience as an Attendant or equivalent combination of education, training and experience./liliWorking knowledge of and experience in the customer service industry and operation of facility./liliKnowledge and experience in the operation of a retail merchandise facility./liliWorking knowledge of Park Authority standards and ability to adhere to standards./liliDemonstrated supervisory skills./liliAbility to deal effectively with the public./liliAbility to be flexible in meeting a variety of demands and conditions./liliAbility to operate a cash register./liliWorking knowledge of computers./liliStrength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions./liliAbility to perform a variety of duties including custodial tasks./liliAvailability to work a variable work schedule, which may include early and late hours, and weekends and holidays./liliPossession of or ability to obtain necessary licenses or certifications./liliRequired to purchase and wear standard uniform./liliSpecialized duties and assignments related to a facility may require special training and/or certifications./li/ul
