We value relationships and invest in our employees.   br/br/divBased on experience/qualifications./divbr/br/bBenefits Package: Company Paid!  /bbr/liMedical, Dental, Prescription amp; Vision Benefitsnbsp;/liliLife, ADamp;D, and LTD insurancenbsp;/liliPaid Vacation and Holidaysnbsp;/liliMD Live amp; TriaHealthnbsp;/liliCompany-Matched 401K and IRA Retirement Savingsnbsp;/liliPer-Diem paid when overnight travel is requirednbsp;/liliDrive time and mileage paid for use of a personal vehicle when travel is requirednbsp;/liliCompany vehicle provided after orientationnbsp;/libr/br/bRequirements: /bbr/liField installation experience in security environments: Fire Alarm /Intrusion / Access Controlnbsp;/liliNICET certification (Preferred)nbsp;/liliCurrent/valid state required Physical Security license and/or Life Safety license in the applicable technology. nbsp;/liliKnowledgeable about NFPA standards, including NFPA 70 and 72 nbsp;nbsp;/liliWork schedule mainly during the day 8 am to 5 pm, with some night shifts.nbsp;/liliAvailable and willing to work at heights of 20’-60’ on lifts.nbsp;/liliExperience reading blueprints and site maps.nbsp;/liliExperience with multiple Intrusion/Access system manufacturers is a plus.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/liliAssist with pre-installation opportunities by designing and planning technical solutions.nbsp;/liliPerform new installs and provide technical escalation support both on-site at customer locations as well as remotely via the phone and specialized tools.nbsp;/liliExcellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/liliHas basic PPE, and reliable transportation during the training period prior to issuing a company vehiclenbsp;nbsp;/liliComputer/laptop/smartphone proficiency.nbsp;/liliBasic understanding of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.nbsp;/liliHighly proficient with the use of email, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn internal systems.nbsp;/liliValid driver’s license with a clean driving record; no DUI or DWI in the last three years. nbsp;/libr/br/bResponsibilities: /bbr/liInstall, troubleshoot, and repair cabling systems and equipment in IP Video, Access Control / Intrusion Alarm / LAN/WAN infrastructure, and wireless LAN. nbsp;/liliRun low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit bending work.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;/liliComplete all wiring, connections/terminations, and equipment installations ensuring that Access Control and Intrusion systems are complete with total customer satisfaction and contractual requirements.nbsp;/liliInstall, repair, or upgrade fire alarm systems and program control panels for fire alarm systems with the guidance of building plans and electrical layouts.nbsp;nbsp;/liliMount sensors at appropriate locations, performing all necessary tasks, such as drilling holes for cabling and accessing locations such as crawlspaces or attics.nbsp;/liliComplete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that fire alarm systems are in compliance with electrical and fire codes.nbsp;/liliTests to ensure all newly installed fire alarm systems and component devices are operational.nbsp;/liliAdhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by Wachter, our customers, or OSHA.nbsp;/liliPerform any other duties not specifically statedherein, but which your supervisor may assign.nbsp;/liliEnsure all work complies with current codes and regulations.nbsp;/liliAssist and collaborate with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager regarding on-site work schedules and timely delivery of equipment.nbsp;/liliConduct tests to ensure all newly installed systems and component devices are operational. nbsp;/liliTroubleshoot new system installations to ensure the proper functioning and to ensure the system meets local, county, state, or federal codes and legal and/or insurance requirements.nbsp;/lilinbsp;/libr/br/divb style="font-size: 18px;"About: /b/divdivbr/divdivbiWachter is a family-owned company since 1930 and we see each employee as a critical piece of the Wachter Family.
