We are also the largest health care safety-net provider, largest school-based health care provider and the largest mental health provider in the San Diego region./span/pp/pp/ppbJob Roles /b/pulliCompletes all required documentation accurately, promptly, and thoroughly in accordance with department standards; in addition, documentation complies with patients#39; insurance requirements./liliConsults when appropriate and refers patients as necessary to dental specialists and/or medical providers./liliInstructs and clinically supervises dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other Para-professional personnel./liliParticipates in developing and reviewing dental treatment protocols, audit procedures, and quality assurance procedures./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./liliProvides dental care to patients, including root canal therapy, restorative (operative and fixed and removal prosthodontics), and oral surgery (simple and surgical)./liliUses resources efficiently; cost-effectively practices dentistry./li/ulp                                               /ppbbRequirements:/b/b/pulliCurrent American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advanced Resuscitation Training./liliDEA license/liliGeneral practice residency or equivalent of 2 years clinical experience preferred./liliGraduate of an accredited Dental School./liliA license from the State of California as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) is required./liliMembership in the American Academy of General Dentistry is preferred./liliTraveling between sites and other locations is occasionally required. Must have a valid California driver’s license, an automobile, and proof of minimum levels of car insurance as required under California law, although limits of $100,000 are recommended. An acceptable driving record is also required. California law requires all drivers to obtain a valid California driver’s license within ten days of establishing residency.
