At the beginning and end of their shift, they are to fully inspect their vehicle to ensure that it is functioning as designed. They must follow all traffic laws and posted speed limits. If they encounter any unsafe conditions, road hazards or accidents, they report the problems to dispatch immediately. If their vehicle develops mechanical difficulties, they document the problems and communicate needed repairs to dispatch.
