This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of the property and supervision of the maintenance staff on site. This person is responsible for being hands on and completing the work orders on a timely basis. As a leader of our maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the operational excellence, curb appeal and resident satisfaction of the apartment community./p pThis is a full-time position with full benefits. Pay range: $32.00 - $33.00 per hour/p pstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liWork with Community Manager to coach the maintenance team and monitor the team’s performance against community goals./li liAssist in training the maintenance team staff on maintenance, safety and customer service procedures./li liAssist Community Manager with annual budget and making recommendations on bids/li liAdhere to and enforce compliance of all state law regulations and CONAM policies and procedures relating to the apartment community/li liPerform and oversee routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems/li liParticipate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours emergency maintenance services as needed./li liEnsure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards in all maintenance activities./li liAbility to drive locally for business purposes pertaining to property management maintenance./li liOther duties as assigned./li /ul pstrongWho You Are: /strong(Requirements of the Position)/p ul listrongExperience/strong: ul liMinimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent./li li2+ years of multi-family industry experience preferred/li li1-2 years in a supervisory role strongly preferred/li /ul /li /ul ul listrongTechnical Experience:/strong Able to handle tools and power equipment, such as drills, saws, grinders, electrical testers, HVAC systems, and plumbing tools. including proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliance repair, and general carpentry/li listrongTech Savvy: /strongProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications strongly preferred/li listrongProblem-Solving Skills: /strongStrong troubleshooting abilities to quickly assess and resolve maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to residents./li listrongCommunication/strong: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with residents, team members, and vendors effectively./li listrongCustomer Focus/strong: A passion for delivering exceptional service to residents and creating a positive living experience./li listrongOn Call Rotation: /strong Willingness to work a flexible schedule and participate in an on-call rotation to handle apartment maintenance emergencies./li listrongAbility /strongto lift up to 50 lbs./li listrongPossess/strong a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage/li /ul pstrongWhy You'll Love Working Here:/strongbr /CONAM Management Corporation is more than just a job — it’s a career where you can grow and be recognized for your expertise in Property Management.
