TEC truly offers the convenience of one-stop shopping for all trucking-related needs./p Overview: p style="margin: 0px;"span style="color: #000000; font-size: 10pt;"This position is primarily responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks.  We offer in-house advanced-training opportunities - we are one of only three dealer groups in North America that is certified to conduct all Mack/Volvo training up to the master tech certification within our in-house Training Centers. We cover travel costs for our technicians to attend training. We also offer a family-oriented work environment./span/p Responsibilities: ullispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to troubleshoot issues and repair vehicle to proper operating condition/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Perform routine and preventative maintenance services. Identify worn and damaged parts all parts to include major components, repairing, adjusting, or replacing as needed/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Troubleshooting with diagnostic software – charging systems, brakes, suspensions, A/C system/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Ability to be on task to meet shop quality and efficiency standards/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Maintain safe and organized work area/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Follow all state and federal vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards; follow company policies, procedures, and safety and EPA regulations/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Must use all safety equipment necessary for the job/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical and regulation publications/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems/span/li/ul Qualifications: ullispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Minimum 6 months practical experience in commercial 6 8 truck classes/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Able to perform preventative maintenance services such as oil transmission changes, replacement of light body components and lights sensors, etc./span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Proficient in the repair and diagnosis of: diesel engines; interior exterior cab components, hydraulic systems, steering systems, and brakes/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Proficient in use of all tools of trade/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Basic computer skills to input vehicle maintenance records and utilize diagnostic software/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Be able to provide a detailed written analysis and computer input of the three C’s (complaint, cause, correction) as well as details on any repairs/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Ability to meet physical demands of the job (job requires frequent lifting/moving up to 50lbs, climbing, stooping, kneeling, seeing, grasping, hearing, etc.)/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision  /span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Ability to maintain predictable and reliable attendance and work in a safe and alert manner/span/lilispan style="font-size: 10pt;"Valid driver's license and able to meet insurance requirements.
