pThe Resident Assistant is responsible for providing personal care and delegated health-related services designed to maintain the resident’s physical and emotional well-being. Learn more at /span/spana href="https://www.ecumen.org/find-a-career/benefits/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"spanspan style="color: #467886;"https://www.ecumen.org/find-a-career/benefits//span/span/aspan./spanspan /spanspan /span/p /li /ul pstrongEssential Job Responsibilities:/strong/p ol liAssists with treatments and activities of daily living as delegated by the Clinical Director per individualized care plan including: ul liDressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, ambulation, transferring;/li liAssists with AM and HS cares including oral care as needed;/li liIncontinence care;/li liAssistive devices, glasses and hearing aids;/li liMedication administration as delegated by the RN/li /ul /li liAssists with medication, treatments and activities of daily living as delegated by the Clinical Director per individualized care plan./li liObserves, documents and reports changes in physical, cognitive and emotional condition of any of the residents./li liPromotes independence with residents, offering choices and fostering self-help skills./li liPartners effectively with others in a demanding and changing environment and supports all team members within the community as directed by the Clinical Director or Registered Nurse./li liCompletes scheduled cleaning tasks./li liLeads and assists resident activities as assigned./li liResponds appropriately to all safety hazards, call lights, requests and reassignment of duties./li liPerforms other duties as assigned./li /ol pstrongMinimum Required Qualifications: /strong/p ul liMust be 17 years of age or older/li liAbility to communicate effectively both verbal and written /li liAbility to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to:  Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations/li /ul pstrongPreferred Qualifications: /strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)/li liPrevious experience with working with seniors/li liCertified Nursing Assistant CNA and/or Home Health Aide/li /ul
